Early Morning Maryland Murder Under Investigation After Man Shot In Head, Police Say

A man is dead after being shot multiple times in the head and chest in Baltimore, authorities say.

Officers were conducting a follow-up investigation to an incident when they heard gunfire coming from the 2300 block of Ruskin Avenue just before 9 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, according to Baltimore police.

Officers were able to locate a 39-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and upper body. The victim was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
